Will Pounder Soars Opposite Blake Blossom in MissaX’s ‘An Honest Man’

With the 2022 awards season on the horizon, award-winning adult performer Will Pounder is establishing himself as a solid contender for nominations in the year’a top categories.
The handsome leading man, an experienced mainstream actor who appeared on the TV series “A Grunt’s Life,” before joining the adult industry, has chalked up a string of compelling, well-reviewed characterizations of late.
One of Pounder’s finest pieces of acting work this year, in a strong field indeed, can be found in the new MissaX offering, “An Honest Man.” Pounder stars as he titular character, opposite rising superstar Blake Blossom (in her MissaX debut).

Written by Missa X, and helmed by veteran director Craven Moorehead, “An Honest Man” casts Pounder as a loyal married man who receives a visit from his wife’s friend (Blossom). She says she has come over to return a borrowed serving dish, but Pounder discovers that there’s a dildo along with it.
Blossom explains that she promised to teach her girlfriend how to masturbate properly, and determinedly asks Will to help by recording her in a masturbation tutorial video. Filled with humor, discomfort, and suspense, the expertly-paced scenario finds Pounder falling victim to the irresistible blonde’s charms . . . but a surprise ending unravels what really inspired Blossom’s visit.
“Long takes really separate the men from the boys,” Pounder noted, “and you need a director like Craven — who is talented, organized, and fearless — in order to pull it off. At one point we did six pages of dialogue in one go. The day flowed super well, and Blake and I just killed it.”
Blake Blossom commented, “This was my first time working for Craven and MissaX, so I was very nervous with such a dialogue-heavy script. But Will helped me through memorizing the pages and it turned out to be much easier than I thought.
“The idea of returning a dildo to my neighbor had me laughing, but as I read deeper into the script, the plot-line turned into a stealthy swap of wives.
“I also really enjoyed the vlog aspect to this story because it allowed me an opportunity to show different emotions from my character. This project was really out of my comfort zone, and I’m so happy that I can branch out into new avenues.”
Pounder too is grateful for the experience of working on “An Honest Man”.
“I’m really happy with how it turned out. Blake is always dedicated and wonderful to work with, but what we accomplished there was transcendent for both of us in some way. I’ve been very fortunate in terms of the roles I have been given. but it was a privilege to be chosen for this project.”
