VENICE, CA – Webcamming has been one of the adult industry’s great breakthroughs in recent years, bringing models closer than ever to their fans, and virtual reality technology is taking camming to the next level.
Writing for VRPorn.com, Morndenkainen takes a look at PEEP360, a company that is bringing the virtual reality experience to the cam game. They are the first company to offer live streaming cam girls in 360-degree video format. All you need is a VR headset, Google’s Chrome browser and to set up an account with PEEP360.
Morndenkainen confesses his real-life scenario – brown couch with cup holders, a recliner, an HD projector with a screen 15 feet away. And then, with the VR headset, all of that is gone.
“No more couch, nothing,” Morndenkainen writes. “Just me, the girl’s room, and everywhere I look, none of the shit that’s cluttering up my room to remind me that I’m still in MY room. I can focus on the girl, the girl can focus on me and I feel like I’m the center of attention.”
While acknowledging that there is still room for improvement, progress is being made. And, most importantly, the technology already has the ability to get you out of your room and into the mindset that erases the barriers between model and man. Of course, the technology is new to everyone, so right now the models are getting questions like “Why isn’t my head tracking working?” almost as often as “Will you take your panties off?”
Morndenkainen went on a test run with model CrazyLaura, who he said was “pretty chill.” She was “relaxed, smiling, helpful” – and it seems that that last one is going to be important as the technology advances. Morndenkainen writes more about CrazyLaura’s abilities as front-line tech support.
“There was no pressure or bitchiness and she was genuinely helpful in trying to get my issues with my Vive resolved,” he wrote. “Sadly, because of the number of VR devices out there, I couldn’t get the head tracking to work and had to use mouse-look, but whatever… It was still a cool experience…”
Forward we move and soon enough the kinks will give way to kinky and when that happens the technology will be an afterthought as we enjoy the pleasures they afford us.
