BERLIN – A staple of the adult entertainment trade show circuit since 1997, the 2019 edition of VENUS Berlin kicks off in just under three months, running from October 17-20 – and today the show’s organizers are reminding everyone of just how much there is to see at this enormous annual celebration of erotica.
“For more than 22 years, the VENUS Berlin presents every year in October trends and innovations in the fields of erotic and lifestyle,” VENUS Berlin GmbH said in a statement released Thursday. “In addition to producers of films, love toys and lingerie, for example, suppliers of furniture, clothing or alcoholic beverages show their products in the Berlin exhibition halls under the radio tower. At numerous stage shows, visitors can admire a firework of eroticism. Friends of leather and leather, however, get their money’s worth in the Kinky Area. New this year is a special area for male visitors only, as well as a hall where Camgirls broadcast live from the show while meeting their fans in person. The female visitors also expect a true highlight of erotic entertainment with the new and larger Ladies Area.”
For the eighth year, Micaela Schäfer will be the face of VENUS Berlin, serving as one of two VENUS Ambassadors. Schäfer has become such a mainstay of the event, she says she “cannot image a life without the fair in October.”
“The VENUS is part of me – and not just as a tattoo on my neck,” Schäfer added.
At Schäfer’s side this year as her fellow Ambassador will be Patricia Blanco, an “absolute newcomer to VENUS.”
“When the offer came to represent the VENUS, I felt totally honored and at the same time electrified,” Blanco said. “If somebody used to tell me with my 116 kilo that I would become a testimonial for the VENUS at the age of 47, I would have declared him completely crazy.”
Dozens of companies have signed on to exhibit at VENUS, presenting ample opportunity for business-to-business networking and relationship building.
