TPF Urges Attendees to “Start Early and Play Hard”

TPF - Start Early Play HardTEMPE, Ariz. – In a pair of statements issued Friday, The Phoenix Forum (TPF) reminded prospective attendees of the show’s pre-show kickoff events and central attractions, encouraging all who attend to “start early and play hard.”

First on the slate of pre-show events at TPF is the show’s 15th annual charity golf tournament, presented by X2K Consulting and Media Services, on Wednesday March 27. With proceeds benefitting the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP), the tournament is once again taking place at the Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, which has been recognized by Golf World as a Top 50 Resort.

“With lots of contests. giveaways, and surprises on each hole, the Tournament is open to any member of the Online Entertainment Industry and any skill level from new golfers to your Company Ringer,” TPF said.

Player registration for the tournament gets you a full day on the links, including transportation to and from the course, range balls and bag tag, a round of golf, continental breakfast, lunch and drink tickets, plus the awards mixer and dinner.

“We are so excited to put on The Phoenix Forum Annual Charity Golf Tournament to kick off the Phoenix Forum for the 15th year in a row,” said Stephen Bugbee, owner of X2K. “Thank you to TPF for letting us hit this huge milestone.”

Buses to the Ocotillo Golf Club will leave the front entrance of the Tempe Mission Palms (the TPF’s venue hotel) at 10am on Wednesday morning, giving players plenty of time on the practice range before the “Shotgun start” at noon.

The pre-show fun continues Wednesday evening with the YNOT Grand Prix at the Octane Raceway in Scottsdale.

“Open to any member of the Online Entertainment Industry who is looking for a fast-paced, pre-show adventure, no-registration is required to join your friends at the YNOT Grand Prix,” TPF stated in its announcement. “The 1/3 mile track is the only full time indoor/outdoor track in the U.S.”

Now in its tenth season, the YNOT Grand Prix offers plenty of entertainment even for those who don’t compete in the race, as well as another opportunity to network with your fellow TPF attendees.

“The Octane Raceway facility at TPF is one of my personal favorites,” said Jay Kopita, YNOT Co-Owner and producer of the YNOT Grand Prix events. “The karts are electric, the track is both indoors and outdoors, and our dinner and bar can’t be beat. Get into TPF a day early and enjoy an evening of networking, racing, food and fun with your industry peers.”

Bus transportation to and from Octane Raceway will be provided, starting with a 5:30 p.m. departure from the Tempe Mission Palms, and making round trips until the event ends at 9:00 p.m. Sponsors for the 2019 Grand Prix include JuicyAds, BongaCash, Online IPS, Gaming Adult and YNOT.com.

In another post published Friday, TPF touted its reputation as a great show for networking and establishing new contacts, reminding prospective attendees of the show’s many features and attractions, including the Mission Palms’ central courtyard, which TPF described as “the magic location to meet, eat, relax and talk business with most everyone at the show.”

“You have to try hard to no do business” while in the courtyard, TPF added.

The TPF’s post also noted that while there will be no “Sponsor Meet and Greet” event at this year’s show, attendees are encouraged to visit the show’s sponsors in the ballroom to “do a deal… or perhaps get that perfect swag to take to your kids.”
