YNOT – Encore Music Group has launched Real Play/Real Time, a new program that helps record companies track new music that is being played in about 100 leading gentlemen’s clubs across the U.S.
The program is the first to give record companies immediate data on air play in cabarets, which traditionally have been a coveted venue for new music. Gentlemen’s clubs participating in Real Play/Real Time will receive access to new music specially selected for their environment.
“It’s a win-win program,” said Chuck Oliner, president of Encore Music Group. “The clubs get advance access to the hottest new music, and the labels get airplay and generate impressions with a reliable launch platform to create enthusiasm and demand for new songs. Our new software gives record companies instant access to information on when the new music is played and where, which is an invaluable targeted marketing tool as they break new music on a national level.”
Oliner said the password-protected website, ToplessTopTenMusic.com enables record labels to see exactly when and where titles are being played at participating clubs.
The Real Play/Real Time program is being rolled out at selected clubs in the Rick’s Cabaret International Inc. group, as well clubs chosen for the pilot program in the Hustler, Déjà Vu, Little Darlings and Dreamgirls groups.
