TLA Merges Straight Division Properties

PHILADELPHIA – Multi-genre entertainment company TLA Entertainment Group has consolidated the properties in its straight adult division into one operating unit under a single brand.

TLA Raw, an online adult DVD shop for the heterosexual market, merged with Popporn, a an adult entertainment blog for the heterosexual market. The combined entity will operate under the Popporn brand.

The merger of the two sites comes on the heels of TLA’s acquisition in January by Sterling Genesis, an international investment group, and the promotion of Brian Sokel to executive director of all TLA retail divisions.

“TLA has had an unbelievable revitalization over the last three months,” Sokel said. “The acquisition led to reinvigoration and fresh investment in our business, allowing us to re-think our brand in the straight adult marketplace. It’s only logical to merge our shopping site with our blog into one perfect adult entertainment destination under the name that most closely matches who we are.

“The new Popporn promises a continued commitment to providing the very best in home entertainment for adults at low prices, offering privacy for our valuable customers,” he added.

The affiliate program for the new entity, paying 10 to 18 percent revenue share, is here.

The company’s gay retail website, TLAgay.com, will not be affected.
