YNOT – TLAraw.com, an online and direct-mail DVD and video-on-demand retailer, has opened public voting for the 2011 TLA Raw Awards. In their second year, the awards honor consumers’ choices for the best in straight adult entertainment and sex toys, as well as the most popular male and female performers, studios and directors.

Nominations were determined by the TLA Raw staff. During the month of March, customers, fans and the adult entertainment industry are invited to vote for their favorites in 16 categories. Winners will be announced April 15. Nominees will be provided a “nomination badge” which they may use to encourage voting among their fans.

Winners in a 17th category already have been determined by TLA Raw staff. In what a spokesman called “a clear and decisive victory,” the award for “Freakout of the Year” was bestowed upon Capri Anderson, Bree Olson, Kacey Jorden and any other adult performer who had sex with Charlie Sheen this year.

“Once again, TLA Raw is excited to acknowledge and honor the hard work and quality that we see every day from studios and performers,” said TLA Raw Managing Director Brian Sokel. “These awards are voted on by the fans and our customers, giving them the final say in who deserves to be acknowledged. We wish all of our nominees the best of luck.”
