PATTAYA, Thailand – Erotic filmmaker and ForPlay Films founder Inka Winter is this week’s guest on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, the show announced Tuesday.
Inka says that spending her formative years living in an alternative artist commune in Austria is part of what gave her a “critical eye for what constitutes sexy, consensual female pleasure and set the foundation for her creative endeavors in erotic filmmaking,” according to the announcement. “The commune, on the surface, preached free love but didn’t give women equal standing, and the leader abused his power for his own sexual gratification.”
Inka is also a certified sex educator and counselor and provides desire and arousal coaching. Her background in costume design and styling “informs her aesthetic, which translates to the editorial feel of her films.” She also believes that “education and emotional well-being are a central part of a healthy sex life.”
Launched in 2017, ForPlay Films is described as an “independent, all-woman production company on a mission to create erotic short films through a feminist gaze.” Their films are “designed to turn women on – inclusive of cis, trans, and queer – by bringing their pleasure and fantasies front and center.”
The company started by filming “real-life couples performing scenes inspired by women’s deepest fantasies, showcasing a wide range of sexual acts and practices.” The studio now also employs professional adult performers but continues to “focus on chemistry, consent, and women’s sexual autonomy. “
ForPlay Films also produces Sexucation, a series of short videos that “use humor to educate women and men alike on cunnilingus, communication, poly-am-ory, birth control, and all things sex.”
