LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Adult performer Misha Montana has been selected as the latest brand ambassador for ThePornConversation.org, Erika Lust’s sex-ed non-profit that offers “a variety of instructional tools for families and educators to teach young people about sex, intimacy and healthy relationships.”
In becoming an ambassador for the site, Montana joins a group of educators, authors, activists, therapists and media luminaries who have “used their high-profile platforms to spread the word about porn literacy and remove misconceptions about what young people see on their screens versus real life,” according to Montana’s announcement.
“I am so excited to be named as one of The Porn Conversation’s Ambassadors whose mission is to spread sex-positive culture and porn literacy to young people who may not yet understand the complexities of sexual relationships and try to educate themselves by watching porn,” Montana said. “Without the ability to analyze and make sense of sexual images that portray an exaggerated fantasy for the sake of entertainment, young people raised on Internet pornography without any educational context are going to believe that what they’re seeing in an adult film is how people actually have sex. The Porn Conversation is absolutely essential in helping family members and educators erase the shame and communicate directly about this important topic.”
