YNOT – Despite her petite frame and exotic looks, Mia Gold is determined to set the porn world on fire with high-energy, intense performances. In the business for only six months, she’s already joined uber-agent Mark Spiegler’s elite roster.
From Gold’s perspective, the future looks bright, indeed.
YNOT: How did you get into the industry?
Mia Gold: My kinky life! My ex kept encouraging me to get into porn. I looked into it, and here I am.
How did you come up with your nom de porn?
I didn’t want a corny porn name, so I fudged with a few names and ended up choosing something a little “incognito Jew.” “Gold” is from my Hebrew name, Goldie.
What makes you different from other starlets?
I like to keep things very professional and fun. Yes, I’m a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets.
What’s your favorite kind of scene ? Why?
I really enjoy high-energy sex, but it really gets me off when a guy makes love to my ass.
You just signed with Mark Spiegler, who’s built quite a reputation in the industry. How did that come about, and how’s the relationship going?
I contacted him, we met and he signed me. It’s a great fit. I’m really happy and excited about 2013.
What do you see happening for you in 2013?
I plan keep pretty focused, kick ass and enjoy it all. I’m so ready!
Before you signed with Spiegler, you were mainly self-represented. Was it difficult to be on your own?
It was a lot of work, but very rewarding. I do enjoy the business aspect of it all and learned a lot while I was independent, but now Spiegler is my main man and I finally can focus on just being a model.
Although you’ve been in the industry for only about six months, is there anything you would have done differently?
I wish I had met Spiegler in the beginning. Other than that, I’ve been pretty tactful with everything and don’t regret a thing.
