YPSILANTI, Mich. – A vegan, all-natural product born in the mainstream has made its way into the pleasure products realm as a lube.
The Butters, offered by LTASEX, mixes six nutrient-packed oils and butters with organic aloe vera fillet gel, apple cider vinegar and arrowroot to create what the creator described as a safe, effective product for intimate moisturizing.

“The Butters was created as a solution to three problems in my life: chronic ashiness, dry hair and, most importantly, a lack of quality lube made for sex,” Nichols said. “There are lots of products that solve the first two well enough, but I’ve never found a lube that’s beneficial to every orifice, non-toxic, plays well with lots of toy materials, won’t stain sheets, tastes good, is pregnancy-safe and carries a reasonable price. After lots of research, I landed on recipe that hit dead center on everything I need.”
Nichols describes himself as “your average 28-year-old gay, black, polyamorous, socially woke, functionally impoverished, chronically depressed and anxious PrEPared Atheist Dom.” He founded LTASEX in 2010 to share what he’s learned about love, sex and life during his journey to self-actualization. The Butters is a passion project, of sorts, for him.
