Sam Hasson, an entrepreneur who said he takes pride in breaking new ground, is the founder of Radio Temptation. He sat down with YNOT.com to give readers the scoop about his latest endeavor.
YNOT: You didn’t start in the adult industry, did you?
Sam Hasson: Since 1990, I have been starting businesses that offer new ways to do things. I started a computer animation company, designed computer games and launched a web design business followed by an online marketing firm over the past 20 years. All of them gave me the necessary skills that would ultimately bring me to radio.
Six years after founding LA Talk Radio, a mainstream internet radio station that has grown tenfold since its inception, I felt I needed to do something new and innovative again.
How is Radio Temptation different from other online adult radio offerings?
The vision for my new adult radio station is a place where fans can listen to, watch and chat with their favorite porn stars in real time. Radio Temptation is the first radio station to offer high-quality adult industry interviews and interaction in full high-definition video.
What kind of content does the station offer?
The new radio station features some of today’s hottest and most popular adult film stars, who produce their own shows and invite some of the most fascinating players in the industry to appear on their programs.

How are the listenership numbers looking so far?
We are heartened by the incredibly positive response following our launch in April. In addition to the wide industry media coverage and warm reception and the emails following our January 2014 announcement, our hosts and their guests have attracted hundreds of thousands of new listeners to the radio station in our first couple of months.
Social media, especially Twitter, can generate huge audiences instantly, and the fans are discovering us every day.

When I conceived of Radio Temptation, what I envisioned was the ultimate platform for adult marketers to feature their products and reach their target audience easily when the audience is ready to buy. What are your long-term goals for the station?
My goal is simple: I plan to make Radio Temptation the ultimate place for the stars to connect with their fans.
When I witness the excitement of fans who call in to the shows and the entertaining talk in the chat room, I feel I have accomplished my goal. My objective is to continue seeing the smiles of the hosts, the guests and the listeners. We’re about entertainment and fun, and we are already making a mark on an exciting industry.
