In the scene, Vivianne DeSilva plays Juniper’s mother, who has had just about enough of her attitude, attire and rejection of all things girlie. Nicky says he’s on Juniper’s side and doesn’t mind if she lives as a tomboy. He’s even willing to defend Juniper against Vivianne – provided she’s willing to do something for him.
