TBD Health Offering Affordable Mgen Testing for PASS Community

TBD HealthLAS VEGAS, Nev. – TBD Health has announced an exclusive offer “at supporting the PASS community by making Mycoplasma Genitalium (MGen) testing more accessible and affordable,” the sexual health clinic said.

“This initiative underscores TBD Health’s commitment to promoting sexual health and well-being for performers especially given the newly passed PASS guidance asking all performers to be tested for MGen by October 1,” the clinic added.

“Mycoplasma genitalium is an issue that the medical community is still figuring out, not just our industry,” said said Ian O’Brian, Executive Director of PASS. “TBD Health is who PASS first turned to for a testing pilot last year because we could trust they would ensure delivery on the highest standards of care despite the uncertainty. We are grateful to their aptitude as well as their continued dedication to our community.”

TBD Health said the clinic is “proud to work with CAP and CLIA-certified labs and have in-house prescribing clinicians that adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.”

TBD Health offers several options for Mgen testing and treatment, including at-home test kits and in-clinic visits for those in the Las Vegas area.

In the announcement, TBD Health noted that individuals can now access at-home MGen testing kits at a special discount. By using the code “PASS101” at checkout, customers can obtain the kits for $65, a significant reduction to the standard price of $90. According to TBD Health, the kits are available for purchase in 49 states (New York being the exception). For more information and to take advantage of the offer, click here.

For those in the Las Vegas area, TBD Health offers MGen testing at the same $65 price point. In the announcement, TBD Health said the “comprehensive fee includes any necessary consultation with our knowledgeable healthcare professionals to discuss treatment options (please note that the cost of medication is not included).” To book an appointment, visit TBD Health’s Las Vegas clinic booking page.

For those who have already received Mgen testing results but are in need of medication, TBD Health can offer assistance, as well.

“If you’ve previously been tested for Mycoplasma genitalium at CLEAR, TBD Health offers medication consultation services for just $65,” the clinic said. “This service is designed to assist you in understanding your test results and discussing potential treatment options. Please bring your lab results with you to your appointment.

“TBD Health is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in the PASS community has access to affordable and reliable MGen testing and care,” the clinic added. “Our clinicians are focused on creating personalized care plans based on a patient’s specific needs. We believe that sexual health is about more than just testing– access to high-quality care is a fundamental right, and we are committed to breaking down barriers to access.”
