The $3,900 winning bid speaks to precisely how hard the hardest core fans are willing to work in order to make that a reality.
Bidding began at $100 and, after 54 bids, reached the impressive winning total and has convinced both Defiance Films and MALLcom that the idea was a brilliant one. “In my wildest dreams I never thought the bidding would reach almost four thousand bucks,” exclaimed Keith O’Connor, Defiance Films’ head of production.
MALLcom CEO Jerry Aharony is so happy with the results of the collaborative venture that the chance of second such venture appears highly likely. “I smell another Ebay auction soon. So stay tuned!” he promised while on vacation in the Greece.
In addition to the auctioned film shoot, MALLcom customers are eligible for valuable contest prizes until September 15, 2005 whenever they purchase a Defiance Film title or spend more than $250. Webmasters are eligible for a soon-to-be-released Xbox 360 if they promote the contest.
