YNOT – For years, Latina T-girl performer and photographer Nicole Montero has rocked the shemale porn world with her LatinTranny.com site. Unlike others that rely on third-party material, Montero’s site offers content she produced herself — often with Montero playing a starring role.
Yet Montero never packaged her adventures onto a DVD … until now. SMC Productions recently released Transsexual Superstars: Nicole Montero, featuring Montero and a number of “friends.” Represented by Pulse Distribution, the DVD makes quite clear why Montero is so popular among T-girl fans.
YNOT had a few questions for the Chilean chili pepper.
YNOT.com: Tell us about your first DVD.
Nicole Montero: It is about me with T-girls and females in Brazil, including AVN Awards winner Monica Mattos. There are over two hours of movies, plus a behind-the-scenes video as a bonus.
So why did you decide to produce the DVD after all these years of sticking to strictly to the web?
Well, I was offered work before by other production companies, but with all this piracy issue going on over the internet, I was hesitant. Besides, some companies do not really care about this happening to your product. They release the movie and if it is offered completely free on pirate boards, they don’t care. It means that all your work is down the sink. Fortunately, SMC really cares about this issue, and they work hard to protect their stuff.
How are you promoting this DVD? Is your website going to help the sales
campaign?
Wendy Williams, the dozen times [winner of] AVN’s transsexual performer award, is doing the press release for my DVD. She has been in the biz for many years, and she knows what she is doing. I don’t have a clue, honestly. I am new on this DVD thing! And yes, I hope the website helps with the sales of the DVD and vice versa, with DVD buyers signing up to LatinaTranny.com.
What do you hope to accomplish by going to DVD?
It is a new way of marketing my product. I just want to be on all the battlefields of the porn industry.
