Adult market research firm SWR Data has released its list of “Top Creator Platforms” for 2024, based on the firm’s survey of over 400 adult creators. The data is the latest from SWR’s year-end State of the Creator report, “Money and Platforms.”
According to SWR, as part of their survey “adult creators were asked to identify which fan platforms they regularly use to monetize content.” SWR then “compiled the list of the most frequently cited, along with the percentage of creators saying they used them.”
The top 10 fan sites used by SWR’s respondents are as follows:
- OnlyFans (71.3%)
- ManyVids (53.1%)
- Fansly (36.3%)
- LoyalFans (35.3%)
- Clips4Sale (30.2%)
- SextPanther (27.5%)
- iWantClips (24.7%)
- Pornhub (24%)
- Niteflirt (15.1%)
- Slushy (13.4%)
“Of these platforms, Fansly, LoyalFans and Clips4Sale all showed significant growth since 2022,” SWR noted in a statement accompanying the release of the data. “LoyalFans showed particularly rapid growth, jumping from just 13% of creators in 2022 to 35% of creators this year – nearly triple.”
SWR also asked cam models to identify the platforms they most frequently use to earn revenue. The top five cam platforms were:
- Chaturbate (42.9%)
- Streamate (33.2%)
- MyFreeCams (13%)
- Stripchat (12.5%)
- CamSoda (7.6%)
“With so many options, hopefully this data can provide some insight for creators into how the industry may be moving, and which platforms appear to be attracting the most creators,” said MelRose Michaels, co-founder of SWR Data. “As we note in the report, there’s certainly complexity here, and top platforms can vary depending on who you are, where you’re based and what sector you’re working in. Still, we’ve tried to provide a snapshot of the overall platform market for creators.”
In addition to the Top Platform lists, State of the Creator: Money and Platforms also includes “in-depth information and analysis on trends in creator earnings and revenue streams,” SWR said.
The first part of the State of the Creator report focusing on “Demographics and Market Sectors,” was published last week. Additional data from the survey including new trend in technology and hurdles faced by creators, will be released in early 2025.
