MONTREAL – Mile High Media has announced the DVD release of The Stepmother 17, the latest title from the company’s studio Sweet Sinner. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Mike Quasar, the new release features cover model Rachael Cavalli, who heads a star-studded cast that also includes Kayla Paige, Anna Claire Clouds, Ricky Spanish, Derrick Pierce and Lucas Frost.
“Mike hits it out of the park in his debut directing the popular series with a wild, new episode of The Stepmother,” said Mile High Media Vice President Jon Blitt. “Rachael Cavalli is perfection as she plays the lustful stepmom who won’t take no for an answer, while Kayla, Anna and the rest of this talented cast are pure decadence in this exciting new release.”
In The Stepmother 17, Rachael (Cavalli) is completely obsessed with her new stepson Ricky (Spanish) and is determined to take him away from his girlfriend (Clouds) all while keeping her husband (Pierce) in the dark about her desire for their stepson. Things start to unravel quickly however, and Ricky is left on his own to try to save the dysfunctional family.
Quasar signed an exclusive directorial deal with Mile High last summer. At the time, Quasar noted that he has “worked with Mile High off and on for almost 10 years, so the relationship was already there.”
“His skill and efficiency are legendary and as we were discussing upcoming projects and new products, we both had a ‘eureka’ moment,” Blitt said of Quasar when announcing the exclusive deal. ‘Mike can shoot any type of content, from high-end features to ads and everything in between. He’s also an excellent editor and writer. Having him exclusive to Mile High was an easy decision for us.”
