YNOT – The two adult industry performers accused of first-degree murder in the brutal death of a Hudson, Fla., tattoo shop owner were on a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style crime spree that included theft, shoplifting and prostitution, according to a website owner who said she introduced the pair at an explicit photo shoot.Pasco County Florida authorities have obtained a first-degree murder warrant for Jason Richard Andrews, 26, who remains at large following the May 16 murder of Dennis “Scooter” Abrahamsen, 41. Andrews allegedly worked in concert with his girlfriend, Amanda Logue, 28, to stab and bludgeon Abrahamsen to death in his New Port Richey, Fla., home during an outcall appointment with Logue.
Logue remains held without bond in the Land O’ Lakes, Fla., Jail. She is charged with first-degree murder.
Logue performed under the noms de porn Sunny Dae and Mandy Kaye. Andrews, who appeared as a gay-for-pay model at SeanCody.com in 2008, performed in both gay and straight productions under the name Addison. According to ForbiddenGem.com owner Naomi St. Claire, the pair met in late September 2009 when they shot a scene together for her website.
“When the news of all of this broke, I couldn’t believe that we had not only worked with the alleged accomplices several times last year, but we also shared a house with them for a week,” St. Claire said. “This all came as a shock to us, considering when we first met Sunny Dae the previous year, she was a lot of fun and easy to work with. After introducing her to Addison, they had a natural chemistry. The scenes they shot for us were hot…and they quickly became lovers off-camera. Little did we know how rare the footage we shot of them would later become.”
Police believe the motive for the murder was robbery. When they discovered Abrahamsen’s body May 16, $6,000, a laptop computer, a video camera, a digital still camera and a Home Depot credit card were missing from the residence.
Logue was arrested last week at the Leesburg, Ga., home she shares with her husband. Police have been unable to locate Andrews since his May 19 release from the Pinellas County Jail, where he briefly was held on a related retail theft charge after he attempted to use one of Abrahamsen’s stolen credit cards. A hotel occupies the home address he gave jail authorities, and he is not a guest of the hotel, police said.
According to authorities, at the time of her arrest Logue said Andrews killed Abrahamsen, but detectives also retrieved incriminating text messages the couple exchanged during a period when Logue admitted to being in Abrahamsen’s house.
This isn’t the first time the couple has run afoul of the law, according to Forbidden Gem partner Buster Thompson.
“We knew that something must have been wrong when Sunny didn’t show up for her booth duties at the AVN show back in January in Las Vegas,” he said. “This was just a few short months after working with her and Jason at the eXXXotica New Jersey show. We had her plane ticket ready to go, her image on all of our creatives, and her schedule to sign photographs in place, so needless to say, we weren’t pleased at her no-show. It turned out that she and Jason had been arrested on unrelated charges that week and were being held in jail, so at that point we—wisely—decided to cut all ties with them.”
Added St. Claire, “They were inseparable. After we shot with them Sept. 30, 2009, they were contacting us on a regular basis about shooting them again. They were both capable and wonderful talent to work with, but we didn’t have any shooting going on at the times they contacted us. This is when I’m guessing they fell in deep with each other and started what we call their ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ rampage which included theft, shoplifting and prostitution.
“I have a twinge of guilt, as I know they met through a shoot we held,” she continued. “Although I realize we are in no way at fault, I also know that it was a rotten way to end an otherwise productive and fun shooting experience.
“It’s unfortunate that they put another unwanted stain on our industry, but the fact remains that we have content of them, and it’s human nature to be drawn to the macabre.”
