Social Ikon is a new platform that provides content creators and social media influencers a way to build a fanbase and monetize their work through subscription packages and premium (one-time-purchase) content.
The platform had its ‘hard launch’ on March 16th, 2022 with support from celebrities, Sophie Kasaei, Kris Boyson and Abbie Holborn. The latest social influencer to have joined the platform is Chloe Khan.
Adult Creative says they built the website with “a goal to make signing up, purchasing and selling adult content as simple as possible; whilst attracting active social media influencers with its design.” The company stated that Social Ikon has a range of functionality which allows users flexibility and monetization options, along with full moderation control.
“Approaching a project like this puts your whole team to the test. The designer must have an immaculate eye for detail, the developers must consider a huge range of ‘use cases and the server administrators must be able to setup a server architecture that is robust, scalable and secure,” shares Charlie Cross, Director of Operations. “Once this has been done you cannot underestimate the challenge of testing a platform like this – each feature was rigorously probed and reviewed until we were certain that this application was ready to go to market.”
Social Ikon makes funds available to creator’s banks the same day and recently held a competition on their social media pages offering participants a chance to win an all-expense paid modelling shoot in Mallorca. Winners received a 2-day photoshoot with a professional photographer, flights and a 3 night stay in a luxury villa, hair and makeup from an in-house artist and a guaranteed feature in a top publication including Playboy and FHM.
