YNOT – Men and women who dream of dating porn stars may be able to get a leg up on that aspiration at a soon-to-launch website. Beginning in late July, PornstarDater.com plans to auction dates to the highest bidder.
Pornstar Dater’s owners promote the site as “Celebrity Dating Auction meets Porn Stars.” Users sign up for free, browse auctions in progress and future auctions, and then bid to win a date with any that strike their fancy. The owners said they’ve already signed up a selection of porn girls including Bree Olson, Sophie Dee, Katie Summers, Joslyn James, Jacky Joy, Trinity St. Clair, Gianna Michaels and Casey Cumz. Each star is on auction for one week.
The site and participating performers donate a percentage of the proceeds to charity, the owners noted.
Although the dates may represent fantasies come true, the site is very clear that it does not function as an escort service. Dates are in a public, very secure location. To ensure the safety of participating talent, the company performs complete background checks on all auction winners.
Curvy Brit Sophie Dee is the spokesmodel for the site and will be the first girl auctioned. Nima Tabrizi, one of the owners of the site, said working with Dee has been “amazing” both personally and professionally: Dee’s popularity is certain to attract attention.
The site originally was expected to launch in June. Unforeseen challenges delayed the launch until July 9, and then again until late July. According to a recent tweet, the launch is now set to take place during Adultcon, July 27-29 at the Staples Convention Center in Los Angeles. Pornstar Dater will have a booth at the show, and Dee is expected to make a special appearance.
