Sienna Sinclaire: Naughty is a State of Mind

YNOT – Sienna Sinclaire isn’t a typical porn chick. She has the brains to back up a phenomenal body — quite a lethal combo. She’s also got the kind of personality that allows people to feel comfortable talking to her about anything … which might explain why she’s a successful sex coach and an interesting interview.

YNOT: Tell us about yourself. How did you get into the adult industry?

Sienna Sinclaire: I own and operate the site Naughty Lifestyle Expert, where I write erotic stories, naughty travel guidebooks and sex tips. Plus, I’m a sex coach, adult model, director and burlesque performer. I got into the adult industry when I became a stripper. It lead me onto the path to performing, along with everything else I do.

Why did you decide to make your own exclusive content for your website rather than working with studios or other sites?

I decided to keep my content exclusive because it means I own it all and make all the money. It’s that simple. There are a lot of girls out there who are solo models and make really good money and are also successful. It’s a lot of hard work, but if you stick with it you can be very successful and turn it into a long-term career.

Do you prefer doing girl-girl or boy-girl scenes? Which do your fans prefer?
I only do solo and girl-girl for my website, but I do offer girl-boy with other adult stars. It’s a personal choice.

Who have been some of your favorite porn stars to work with? And who haven’t you worked with that you would like to?

My favorites have been Tori Black and Lexi Belle. Tori is great behind the camera, and Lexi is super sexy, yet cute at the same time. I would love to work with any sexy girl with natural breasts and no tattoos. That’s all I have on my website: all-natural girls. There are so many beautiful girls in the adult industry now, and many are choosing not to get fake boobs, which I’m so happy about.

On your site, you offer sex coaching. How did you get started doing that? Do you have a degree?

I have a new sex coaching website coming out soon at NaughtyLifestyleCoach.com, where I will be offering sex coaching services.

I got started being a sex coach because everyone has always come to me for advice on dating and sex. Plus, I’m always educating myself on all things sex and always looking for naughty things to do when traveling or in my life, along with being naughty on a daily basis. Being naughty doesn’t mean it’s all about sex. Naughty is about feeling sexy and confident. It could encompass anything, including decorating your house to feel even sexier for yourself or your lover. It’s about taking time out for you in the morning to look more beautiful and feel more glamorous throughout the day, whether that means wearing sexy lingerie or wearing red lipstick. It’s a state of mind.

There’s no degree for being a sex coach unless you become a sex therapist, which I’m not. But you can get sex coaching certificates from various coaching websites, which I’ve done. I have a certificate for love, dating and relationship coaching. I have certificates for sex coaching through [the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists] and took a year-long sex-coaching online class with Dr. Patti Britton.

As a sex coach, have you helped save relationships? What is the strangest thing for which someone has sought your help?[/url]

Sex coaching isn’t always about saving relationships. Sometimes through coaching the person or people realize it’s better that they separate — and that’s not a bad thing. They are moving on to find the right person for them.

Sex coaching is about a lot of things. It usually deals with confidence and communication. That’s what it all comes down to, whether someone comes to me for dating or sex tips.

There’s nothing that I find “strange” about what people come to me for, because when you’re a sex expert you’re open to all things. And, you realize that everyone is different with what they like sexually or with what gets them off. No one is “normal”; we all have things that others would consider strange. To me, there’s nothing wrong with that as long as it’s not illegal.

[B]What is the one thing people are the most misinformed about in regards to sex and relationships?

I think a lot of people think of sex and relationships as one size fits all, meaning they think one way about how relationships and having sex are supposed to work. As soon as I stopped thinking about relationships that way, I’ve had better and more meaningful experiences. People need to learn that they can set their own dating rules and not go by a one-size-fits-all thinking.

When I was 24, I realized that monogamy wasn’t for me. I sat down after a big breakup and thought about what wasn’t working. My relationships worked the same way every time I dated someone. They were usually two-year relationships with me cheating on my partner. I decided I wasn’t going to keep going on like that and needed to find out what worked best for me, not what society, friends or family thought I should do. That’s when I decided to start living by my own dating rules. I didn’t want marriage, so I needed to let my lovers know so not to lead anyone on. I wanted to have open relationships, and I wasn’t going to make any promises because I don’t know what the future holds. As soon as I started living by my own dating rules, I’ve had longer and more meaningful relationships.

The thing about sex is that, again, people think it’s a one-size-fits-all proposition. For example, a guy usually eats pussy the same way on every girl he dates rather than catering his actions to his current lover based on what she likes. All women are different, and we get off in different ways. Yes, all women have the same parts — nipples, clit, pussy, ass, G-spot, etc. — but we all like different things. The same goes for giving blowjobs. Women need learn what their lover likes about receiving a blowjob.

Some people will buy a sex book about eating pussy or giving a blowjob and do exactly what it says rather than catering the techniques to their lover. Sex books are great for learning new things, but you still have to tailor what you learn to your lover. The majority of blowjob books say “never use teeth when giving a blowjob,” but I’ve met men who like teeth. I had a guy who liked me to use my teeth up and down his shaft while giving head. Some books say to pay a lot of attention to the guy’s head — suck on it, etc. But I’ve had guys who are very sensitive there.

My point is that sex and relationships are not one-size-fits-all, and the sooner we realize that, the better we can be at sex and having the relationships we want.

Your new book, Naughty Girl’s Guide to Los Angeles, just came out. What inspired you to write the book? What are some of your favorite places?

I’ve always been passionate about traveling. I travel somewhere every month, and sometimes I’m gone for a month at a time. I’ve been traveling my whole life, and I can’t stop.

I always wanted to do something career-wise in the travel industry but didn’t know what. As I traveled around the world, I blogged about my experiences, including naughty things to do and see in each city. People were really interested in what I was writing and wanted to see more, along with suggestions and travel tips.

I’ve also always wanted to write a book, but I didn’t know about what. That’s when it dawned on me to take what I love doing — traveling and being naughty — and combine them into a book. And that’s how Naughty Girl’s Guide to Los Angeles came about.

Rumor has it you’re hosting a party for your book. True or false?

Rumor is right! I have a book-launch party coming up on Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. at Eden nightclub in Hollywood, Calif. It’s mentioned in Naughty Girl’s Guide to Los Angeles as one of the sexiest nightclubs in L.A. There will be sexy girls, burlesque performers, drinks, music and dancing, and who knows how naughty the night might get.

You seem to have done a lot with your life and career. What’s next?

I have a lot up my skirt! What’s next for me are more naughty travel guide books, with the next book, about Las Vegas, due out next year. The following year will see publication of a guide to San Francisco.

I’m adding to my naughty empire with a website for single girls. It takes the form of an online magazine dedicated to living a naughty lifestyle. I’ve already mentioned the Naughty Lifestyle Coach website, which is due to launch soon.

How can your fans get in touch with you?

They can just Google my name, Sienna Sinclaire, or they can visit FollowSiennaSinclaire.com, where they’ll find a list of all my social networks along with a sign-up form for my newsletter. Every new subscriber gets naked photos of me.
