Sadly, due to a lack of technical bandwidth and time, Giovanni Valentnio’s Speech at the ASN Awards in Orlando, Florida last month had to be shelved as he had initially been asked to honor the industry’s greatest icon of public relations herself, Erika Icon. 

“When Michael Ramos of the ASN Awards told me we had to unfortunately shelve my speech due to time and logistical constraints, I was saddened,” stated Giovanni and added, “My introduction to her winning the Hall of Fame Award for her achievements in our industry was one I carefully crafted in a professional celebration of her as a total business woman, so I am happy to post the text so that we can all celebrate her work, together.”

Before I begin with announcing the recipient of our next award, allow me to first thank Michael Ramos and his fantastic team at ASN for bringing us all together this evening so that we may award the best and brightest of the adult entertainment industry.  Tonight is filled with fun, sexiness, and kinkiness galore, and we are all here to celebrate.

Our next award lands near and dear to my heart, so I am at once honored and humbled to be presenting this to its recipient.  We often talk about Hall of Fame Awards as being either “deserved” or “earned.”  I would tell everyone tonight that the recipient of this Hall of Fame Awards both deserves it and has earned it… a million times over.

She earned it through sheer force of will and determination, hard work and long phone calls with clients who have been uniquely challenging and filled with personality – all while she has been a mentor to many, myself included, and she built her own brand through blood, sweat and tears. Likewise, she deserves this award because she continues to excel and succeed in a wholly male-dominated industry and now stands upon the mountaintop to show she is indeed queen of all she surveys.

So now, the recipient of the ASN 2025 Hall of Fame Award in the Public Relations sector in the adult industry, let’s give it up for Erika Icon of The Rub PR.
