#SexTalkTuesday announced today that Ami Mercury on her twitter art account @OrcGirlComic will serve as special guest moderator of the September 8th edition of the Twitter-based chat show, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge on the topic of erotic art. The chat will run from 8pm-9pm EST.

Ami Mercury has worked in the adult industry for 6 years doing porn, fetish films, webcams and phone sex. She has been writing and illustrating her tawdry romance comic Orc Girl for over 3 years. Ami also enjoys creating art pieces focusing on some of her favorite characters and creatures of fiction. Like her adult industry work, her art often portrays kink and sex positive themes, romance, fantasy, & a nuanced view of morality. A lifestyle kinkster herself, Ami also participates in and teaches BDSM and kink classes across the country at lifestyle and industry events. She is currently running a self-love, and body positivity, campaign called “How To Be Orc” inspired by her comics and adult work encouraging others to find their inner strength, or as she puts it their “inner orc.”
“Through both my adult industry work and my art, I am able to explore and share my interests in a way that I hope others can enjoy, as well. I do this with my webcomic “Orc Girl,” especially,” said Ami. “Before writing it, I had noticed a lack of fantasy stories geared towards audiences in adulthood, as opposed to the plethora of coming-of-age stories in the same genre. I wanted a story with adult characters dealing with adult problems, but still rife with all the elements that I always loved about fantasy. Being a sex worker and part of a lifestyle BDSM power dynamic, I also wanted the opportunity to tell a story with positive displays of sexuality and kink.”
