FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Digital payment processing services provider Segpay announced today the release of the company’s latest payout solution, Segcard. Designed for content creators, the company describes Segcard as “the easiest way to instantly pay and get paid.”
“With Segcard, users are issued a U.S. dollar card that can be used to shop, pay bills online, make in-store purchases, and withdraw cash anywhere in the world where Visa is accepted,” Segpay explained in the announcement. “Segcard was developed to help fund content creators and affiliates who don’t have a bank account or are looking for an alternative solution to receive payments.”
Segpay observed that their company “has the ability to handle content creator pay-outs on behalf of merchants that process through Segpay.”
“When money is added to a Segcard account, the owner will have instant access to the funds,” the company added, saying that Segcard can be “used online, in-store, or withdrawn from an ATM and is backed by Segpay’s top-tier banking partners which are highly regulated.” According to Segpay, all transaction data is encrypted using PCI-compliant technology. Users receive global access to check account balances, transfer funds, look at transaction history and more.

Since Segcard is a U.S. denominated card, Segpay is initially launching for U.S. merchants, content creators, and affiliates. The company said that an EU card solution is “scheduled to become available by the end of Q2 of 2023.”
