YNOT – As part of a continuing push into ancillary services that may provide extra revenue for its clients, internet payment processor SegPay has signed a deal to provide a daily celebrity content feed from Mr. Skin. Chief Executive Officer Cathy Beardsley said she believes SegPay is the first company in its space to offer such a service.
Under the agreement, Mr. Skin provides a simple-to-implement content stream SegPay clients can add to their websites. The feed incorporates an upsell feature that encourages end-users to join Mr. Skin with a single click. Clients receive a percentage of each sale.
“At the heart of our business, SegPay is an internet payment processor, but that is only a portion of the value we bring to clients,” Beardsley said. “We have created an ever-growing affiliate community, which helps clients connect the dots and boost revenue.”
Launched in 1999, Mr. Skin may be the most comprehensive warehouse of celebrity skin online. The site offers daily updates, a database of more than 45,000 celebrity bios, movie and TV show reviews and more than 500 hours of nude celebrity videos ranging from cinema’s first-ever accidental nudity to today’s hottest “nudecomers.”
“We have long helped men fast-forward to the good parts,” said Mr. Skin CEO Jim McBride. “Now we’re helping SegPay clients fast-forward to the profits. We have accumulated a lot of content over the past 13 years, and I’m happy to open this up to other channels.”
Mr. Skin is the latest addition to SegPay’s list of strategic partners, all of whom help webmasters provide premium services and new content at minimal cost. The SegPay Partner Program includes technology, security, payment and marketing components.
