Historic flooding may have brought southern Mississippi and its capital city Jackson to a standstill, but Valentine’s Day lovers still found a way to make magic at premier adult boutique Romantic Adventures.
“Unfortunately, storms and floods are a part of life here in the Jackson area, and local businesses are used to losing revenue during severe weather events,” said store proprietor Tami Rose. “Which is why we were shocked that so many people came in to visit us to stock up on ‘home supplies’ for Valentine’s Day this past weekend!”
Rose noted that plenty of amorous singles and couples braved the wet weather and treacherous roads to indulge in colorful lingerie, massagers, oils, sexy games and smoking supplies while riding out the storm.
“First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to support us – which was just crazy, I can’t believe you people, and also we are high & dry and well-stocked if anyone else wants to come out and commiserate with us,” said Rose. “When you live on the river you have to get good at going with the flow.”
Rose is committed to maintaining the highest-quality products in her store, with frequent new arrivals to keep her customers coming back for more, even in a 100-year storm.
