Award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood recently took time out of his busy schedule to talk to XCritic writer Jim Steele for an exclusive interview.
In “The XCritic Interview: Ricky Greenwood,” writer Jim Steele refers to Ricky as a “force to be reckoned with in the industry” and not having “a rule book” and keeping it “Old Skool.” It’s undeniable both Jim and Ricky enjoyed their hour-long interview, possibly even more than the fans and site visitors. The two tackle a broad range of subjects from Ricky making films since he was a kid, studying filmmaking in college, and producing and directing of mainstream projects before entering the adult arena and MileHigh giving him his start. From the beginning, his experience in adult was amazing, and Ricky views himself more as a storyteller. They also talk about making great movies on a budget, performers that are at the top of his list, being friends with other directors, short-term and long-term goals, validation for his craft, adult stars with acting skills, and much more.
