The namesake of ,www.RebeekahDee.com is also smart, ambitious, and in love with the adult life. “I love doing what I do and can’t imagine ever doing a ‘normal’ 9 – 5,” she tells YNOT.com. “I like being my own boss and being able to travel and meet new people.”It’s hard to believe, but Rebekah Dee has been an adult model for 11 years. “I started modeling when I was at university to save myself from endless hours working in a supermarket,” she explains. “The progression to having my own website was a natural one, which came about as the internet boom kicked off! My partner in crime was also at university studying a computer programming course so we decided to pool our ‘talents’ and set up the site. I didn’t realize how much hard work would be involved when we started; the promotion and marketing side is definitely a challenge, but it is one that I think we are managing to stay on top of and I hope we will for years to come.”
Today, Rebekah’s goal is to hire more girls, so that she can concentrate on developing traffic and attracting more members. “I would also like to see more active memberships coming through,” she says. “I do have quite a few loyal members but I would like to have some more that are ‘active’ in the community and can tell me what they like or don’t like.” Such feedback helps drive her content: “I try my best to shoot all requests, although some are so outrageous I don’t think I would even have the balls to do them!”
In the adult industry, 11 years is a lifetime. So what’s the ride been like for Rebekah Dee and her “partner in crime?” “I don’t think either of us realized just what was involved when we first started,” she replies. “The first site was up two years before I got the hang of promotion, but luckily my outlay was minimal so I didn’t give up. I think the real turning point was the first facelift when it went from red to white; the design was a lot better and we started to put more of an effort into the updates and getting more girls involved.”
“When we launched the pee site (NeedaPee.com), it was a little easier as we already had the experience of RebekahDee.com, and being a fetish, it was more niche,” she continues. “Both sites still take up a lot of time in promotion and maintenance, so that they remain fresh. I have met some wonderful people through the site, though, and I think on the whole it has been pretty good going. I just hope it continues!”
One has to wonder; being as porn star sexy as she is, does Rebekah Dee have trouble being perceived as a smart woman, rather than just a lustful object of desire? “Oh yes, my life is so tough,” she laughs. In truth, “I quite like being an ‘object of desire!’ I wouldn’t say I am any more attractive than the average girl on the street, but I am perhaps just a little more willing to flash some flesh! I think a confident woman is a sexy woman and I think that is very powerful. So I don’t believe that women get the raw end of the deal when people look upon them as ‘objects of desire.’ I find it quite empowering the effect that my photos and videos have on others, and so I wouldn’t say it was difficult at all.”
Eleven years on, what has been Rebekah Dee’s favorite porn shoot to date? “I think the most fun I have had is probably one of my ‘webcam parties’ with Jan B,” she replies. “Jan used to live a long way from me so whenever we shot content we always stayed for the whole weekend and did a webcam.
