Reality Lovers and VRPorn have announced the release of “Cumming Home for Xmas,” a holiday-themed title featuring Lexi Dona designed to showcase the power of virtual reality and highlight “the distinct benefit of VR technology for maintaining healthy sexual relationships with loved ones in cases of geographical separation.”
The plot centers on a soldier deployed in a far-away theater of operations who receives a package from his loved one – a VR headset with pre-loaded intimate content that “helps solidify their relationship and helps it thrive under the adverse conditions,” the companies said in a press release announcing the release of the video.
The result of a close collaboration between Reality Lovers and VRPorn, Cumming Home for Xmas was produced by Brittany Bardot. Bardot applied her extensive experience in shooting ‘standard’ porn scenes to VR, a relatively new technology which Bardot sees as a medium ideally suited for erotic works.
“I have always looked at VR as the perfect conduit for erotic content with great potential benefits for human sexuality,” Bardot said. “It is something that adds to it, as opposed to detracting from it.”
VR enthusiasts have long extolled the merits of the technology, especially when content creators make the most of the immersive nature of VR.
As Reality Lovers and VRPorn noted in their statement about the release of Cumming Home for Xmas, the benefits of VR “lie in the fact that it erases the line between the real and the virtual perception of the world, thereby providing an experience that is uncanny in its authenticity, engaging almost all of the recipient’s senses.”
