COVENTRY, ENGLAND — While many in the international community wonder if former United States president George W. Bush will ever be charged for war crimes, a Coventry mail-order pornographer who specialized in body fluid heavy content is preparing to spend 18 months in jail.John Bluck ran a catalogue porn business for more than a decade, using his Midlands home and a west London mailbox. During that time the now 51-year-old man specialized in a wide variety of unorthodox fetishes, including those with defecation, urination, vomiting and what is being called “torture and rape” in the mainstream press.
Even with hard-to-get content like that available, Bluck told the court that his business was “failing” as customers flock to the internet.
According to prosecutor Brett Weaver, Bluck’s RGB Productions trading company was busted by police in 2008, after having been under investigation since 1998. Weaver explained to the court that Bluck ducked notice by using a false name for a bank account and using an anonymous west London mailbox in order to receive orders.
After purchasing and receiving a number of videos and “extreme material” advertisements between August 28th and December 3rd of 2008, police raided Bluck’s home and found more than 2,500 unclassified porn videos and DVDS. Nearly 200 of those were determined to violate the Obscene Publications Act.
Judge Michael Gledhill chided Bluck, who pled guilty to all charges at Westminster Magistrates’ Court last month, stating that “You are highly intelligent, you began a university degree and completed two years of it and fell out after your criminal activities. You are psychologically flawed.”
Gledhill went on to lecture Bluck for his tolerant views concerning the materials he sold, concluding that “Your personal view is that those who want to look at it (his video content) should be allowed and you don’t care that it is against the law. You are an arrogant man and regard yourself as above the law.”
Bluck was convicted of three charges of possessing obscene material for gain, three for publishing obscene material, six counts of supplying unclassified recordings and one for laundering more than $34,000. He was commanded to serve 18 months in jail.
