CLEARWATER, Fla. – StorErotica Magazine has opened pre-nominations for the 10th Annual StorErotica Awards. The awards honor excellence in the adult retail community, including professionals specializing in health and sexuality products at the storefront, distribution and manufacturing levels.
The awards categories for 2016 have expanded to 20 with the addition of Brand Ambassador of the Year, New Product of the Year: International, Luxury Line of the Year, LGBT Company of the Year, Adult Game/Gag Gift of the Year, BDSM Product of the Year and Retailer Favorite of the Year. Still, compared to other adult industry awards shows, StorErotica’s remains small…but no less enthusiastic.
“Each year we joke about being the fastest awards show in the industry,” said Kristofer Kay, the magazine’s public relations manager. “That’s been our blessing and our curse, really. But being that this is our 10th year, we felt like expanding the ceremony to emulate the dynamic growth of our industry.
“The world of erotic retail is constantly evolving to adapt to new clientele, and our awards will always strive to match this evolution,” he continued. “StorErotica is honored to distinguish those professionals and brands which contribute to the overall vitality of the adult retail community.”
The awards will be presented July 18 during the ANME Founders Show at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport in Burbank, Calif.
“From our first StorErotica Awards Show 10 years ago at one of the largest adult nightclubs in the country — Sapphire in Las Vegas — to our new home at the ANME Founders Show, it’s always been our pleasure to honor the pleasure products industry,” Kay said. “We’re very grateful to ANME Director Valerie Jones, her team and, of course, the founders for giving StorErotica such a grand stage to present our awards and to honor the best that our industry has to offer.”
