A market with 100 million users is estimated by Verkata LLC to exist, and the Washington Post anticipates a $200 million portable adult content income potential by 2009.

Gibson believes that the reason more adult business leaders haven’t taken advantage of the iPod’s potential for financial growth is because legal standards have been uncertain and business models largely unavailable.
