TORONTO, CANADA — With multi-tasking and attention deficit running rampant throughout the western world, it should probably come as no surprise that some automobile drivers have a hard time keeping their mind on the road. But it’s one thing to let the thoughts wander and rather another to let the hands do likewise while the eyes are following hardcore porn action. According to the Winnipeg Sun, Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police apprehended a Mississauga man who simply was not paying attention to his driving – because he was too busy watching a porn DVD on his portable player.

Playing passenger to the sex obsessed driver was his travel DVD player, which rode shotgun as the man blasted past other drivers at shortly after midnight along Highway 401 in Port Hope.

After another driver reported the man both driving fast and mesmerized by flickering naked images, police apprehended him, observing that he may have had other problems as well. In addition to driving a brisk 87 miles-per-hour along the highway, officers believed that he might have had a bit more to drink than was good for him. A breathalyzer test administered after stopping 32-year-old Efe Osemwegie, however, indicated that he may have been stupid and careless, but not legally drunk.

Osemwegie has been charged with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a television visible to the driver.
