Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced the organization will host a free online support group “focused on managing stress and promoting emotional resilience.” The six-week support group, “Release the Pressure: A Stress Support Circle,” is sponsored by SextPanther and will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Bridget Bycina. The group will meet for the first time on Sunday, April 7 at 5pm EST.
“Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or constantly on edge is something many of us experience, but we don’t have to go through it alone,” Bycina said. “This group is a safe space to decompress, connect with others, and explore healthy, practical coping strategies. Together, we’ll work toward restoring balance and building resilience in a way that supports long-term emotional well-being.”
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit said stress is “a reality in all of our lives, but with the right support and tools, we can manage it in a way that nurtures instead of drains us.”
“This group is designed to offer a judgment-free space where people can share their experiences, learn from one another, and take real steps toward healing and personal growth,” Tanit added.
Founded by Tanit in 2018 following a string of losses within the adult industry stemming from depression and other mental illnesses, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. To date, the organization reports that it has “connected over 19,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.”
The six-week “Release the Pressure: A Stress Support Circle” support group begins this Sunday, April 7 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 11pm CET. According to the announcement, sessions will last approximately one hour and take place online each week.
