Adult industry mental health non-profit Pineapple Support is in attendance at the AW Summit in Bucharest and will host “a free event, exclusively for performers and creators, to meet each other and get support from a licensed mental health professional,” the organization announced today.
“Spill the Tea with Pineapple Support” takes place tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, from 1pm to 1.45pm (EEST) at the Creators Stage of the conference venue. The event will be hosted by Pineapple Support therapist Ana Stan and is free for adult industry professionals, performers, and creators.
“Join us for the first ‘Spill the Tea with Pineapple Support’ event, where we will dive into the vital support services available to online adult industry professionals,” said Leya Tanit, founder and CEO of Pineapple Support. “Whether you are seeking emotional support, guidance, or just a friendly ear, we’re here to help you navigate the unique challenges of the industry.”
“Pineapple therapist Ana Stan, who is hosting the event, will provide the chance for creators to build a community, connect with like-minded peers and talk about life in and outside the industry,” Tanit added. “This is a unique chance to help build a support network for Romanian creators and performers and contribute to the mental health of our community. We hope to continue the community group monthly in Romania and ask for any organizations that are interested in supporting this event, to contact us to discuss ways they can get involved.”
Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. A qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, Pineapple Support reports that it has “connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.”
