YNOT – Alternative payment services provider Paxum Inc. has updated its global e-wallet system and added an affiliate referral program.

Paxum affiliates will earn U.S. $7 for each referred client who activates a Paxum MasterCard, plus an additional U.S. $5 when the referred client funds his or her account with U.S. $200 or more from an external source. Every verified Paxum client is eligible to enroll in the affiliate program.

“Our business has grown very quickly by word of mouth,” Paxum Chief Executive Officer Octav Moise said. “We believe this is an excellent way to thank our valued customers for their support, as well as to cultivate future growth.”

Paxum also has created a new anti-fraud measure for business accounts. The feature, called Name Match, enables business clients to check Paxum’s database to verify accounts before remitting payment.

“As a business owner, I am very familiar with the need to be aware of any potentially fraudulent activity ASAP,” Moise said. “With that in mind, and with keen observance of our own privacy rules, we developed this feature to assist business owners with their own [know your customer] requirements. Name Match offers a way for business owners to confirm if a new affiliate, employee or client is verified in the Paxum database to match the name they provide that owner.”

The new Name Match feature has been integrated into Paxum’s API functions along with numerous new settings for increased usability. Developers may find out more on the Developers page at the Paxum website.

Paxum’s comprehensive update also includes several features to improve customer experience, such as PDF statements and a customer beneficiary list, available for all users. Batch transfer reporting has been improved, and the ability to create personal accounts for employees and affiliates is easier and more intuitive.
