YNOT – Adult performer and director Paris Kennedy has launched her own studio and DVD label, Crazy Heart Entertainment and Crazy Heart DVD. Crazy Heart will specialize in narrative-driven adult material primarily in the action and sci-fi genres, she said, and she will produce, direct and sometimes star in the company’s full-length feature releases.

“I’m excited, because I’ve wanted to launch Crazy Heart for a long time,” Kennedy said. “I want to create the kind of porn that I personally want to see.

“We are going to bring fantastic performers, great sex and high production values to the fantasy genre,” she vowed. “There are fans who have been waiting a long time to see quality hardcore sci-fi features. I want to give it to them. This company is my baby.”

The first Crazy Heart production, Blue Rain, will begin filming in early February. Kennedy, Lux Kassidy and Sparky Sinclaire are set to star in a porn epic Kennedy indicated will feature special effects, action sequences, top-notch talent and plenty of hardcore sex.

Kennedy plans to make Blue Rain available at CrazyHeartEntertainment.com in early March. The entire movie will be downloadable in order to get the product to fans as quickly as possible, she said. A DVD release will follow in the spring and is expected to be available at brick-and-mortar and online adult retailers.

Crazy Heart is an outgrowth of Kennedy’s network of fetish sites, anchored by ScienceFictionFetish.com and CombatFetish.com, both of which she designed and manages with partner Alex Bettinger. The sites’ videos are known for fight scenes, comic book themes and cinematic style.

“[Alex and I] have been producing sci-fi and action fetish material together for three years,” Kennedy said. “I want to bring the same creativity and quality to the [DVD market for the] genre we love, with the added bonus of fantastic sex.”

Crazy Heart plans to release videos in both softcore and hardcore versions in order to appeal to a broad market.
