CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Veteran marketing and sales professional Jesus Ruiz has joined the sales staff at pleasure products manufacturer NS Novelties.

“I have always admired NS Novelties’ creativity, innovation and choice of materials,” Ruiz said. “I’m extremely excited and look forward to getting out there with my new team, promoting the brand and being a part of their amazing growth. It’s the next step in my incredible journey within this industry.”

Previously, Ruiz worked for Pipedream and Oxballs. His responsibilities at NS Novelties include expanding current relationships with domestic and international accounts, attending tradeshows, and growing the brand globally.

“The answer to increasing sales is educating the distributor, retailer and consumer about the reasons for a product’s existence,” he said. “I feel like the more they know about the product, the more they will love it and appreciate its availability.

“The term ‘sexual wellness’ is being used a lot, and folks are looking to educate themselves,” Ruiz continued. “Taboos are being lifted. Guys are more open to sexual experimentation. It’s an exciting time to be in this position at this stage.”
