LOS ANGELES – Nikita Von James is a breast-lover’s dream, but that’s just one thing — well, two things — to appreciate about the brainy starlet who already has earned an economics degree and is working to earn another degree in business.

YNOT: What keeps you motivated?
Nikita Von James: Recognition. I love my job. I’m optimistic, and I love trying new things. I’ve been dancing for about 14 years and have been doing movies since 2008.
I feel very comfortable being in the adult business, because people are cool and we have fun.
Considering your business education, do you manage your porn persona as a commodity?
It is a business and I treat it as such, but I still like being myself.
You call yourself a “closet geek.” Why?
I love school and enjoy doing my homework. I think it’s my hobby.
What do you like and dislike about porn?
I like having a sexy time! It’s always nice to work with hot boys and girls and get all kinds of naughty. I just wish there were more companies to shoot for.
Do you adopt a particular mindset when you’re about to shoot a scene?
A transformation takes place: I don’t pay attention to anything else, just to this particular moment when the camera is rolling. It’s very hypnotic.
What was the funniest or strangest sex scene you’ve done to date?
Being tied up in a dungeon was weird at first, but it went so well. I kind of crave more of that.
What goals have you set for yourself, professionally and personally?
I want to conquer the feature-dancing world and be one of the greatest feature dancers. I would like to continue appearing on magazine covers and being recognized for my movies. I’ve also put a lot of quality work into my website, NikitaVonJames.com, and I believe it’ll be a big success.
Also, I’d like to work on bigger [adult video] projects.
Where would you like to be in 10 years?
That’s a long time from now! I know I will be done with my degree and have a few different businesses. I like being my own boss.
What do few people know about you?
I grew up in Russia — Siberia, to be exact. My favorite movies and shows are comedies, and I’m a workaholic.
