New York, NY — Nick Capra and Lucas Entertainment are pleased to announce the star’s second feature film release with the company. Secrets Between Uncles and Nephews stars and was directed by Capra.
Capra knew that he had more stories to tel while he was working on his first movie for Lucas Entertainment, Secrets My Daddy Never Told Me. “The new movie unraveled like a gay-porn soap opera. Families. Secrets. And scandal. But, like every second installment in a series, I wanted to go bigger,” Capra explained. “How can you go wrong with hot man sex and some good drama?”
Capra enjoyed another awesome time directing his movie with Lucas Entertainment, having full access to the Puerto Vallarta models, crew and set — the perfect environment to create in. “I met with each member of the cast, gave them my vision for their characters, and allowed them to add input,” he said.
Drew Dixon, who is featured in the movie, concurred. “The whole feature went smoothly. [Any stress] was absorbed by the man in charge,” he said. “Nick was high-spirited, energetic and passionate throughout. He had a very clear vision of how he wanted things to play out… We were not just delivering sex here, but giving characters real identities.”
The theme of relationships between fathers and sons — and how they’re often fraught — is one Capra is passionate about exploring. “Many gay men will be able to relate to the characters of the straight dad who is in complete denial of his son’s sexuality. And the closeted gay son, who is desperately seeking his dad’s approval,” Capra said.
In addition to the director himself and Dixon, Secrets Between Uncles And Nephews stars Adam Russo, Drake Rogers and Sergeant Miles. The first scene is available now, and the movie set for DVD release later this fall.
