CHICAGO – A new player on the pleasure products scene has introduced what it believes is the world’s first Tantric pleasure toy.

Tantriss’s designers created Umie “to bring the ancient art of Tantra [into] the 21^st century.”

Controlled by a 12-frequency/10-mode microchip, Umie offers 360-degree stimulation and a body-safe, waterproof silicone shaft that may be heated to 103 degrees. A rechargeable lithium battery powers the device, which connects to an iOS or Android app.

“After controlled testing of seven products, Umie maintained the highest scores for vibration level — 15.6 G forces at its peak — with frequency of over 113.5hz,” said Tantriss President Yury Beyderman. “Vibration can be adjusted so that each user can find their preferred level of intensity.”

The company’s brand strategist, Suzie Michelle, said the idea behind the product is to help consumers experience mindful pleasure.

“We are always in a hurry, and sometimes we forget to be present in the moment, to relax and enjoy simple pleasures,” she said. “If my fitbit tells me to take 600 more steps, I try. If an app helped me to breath slower, be in the moment, it would certainly heighten my experience and perhaps lead me to bliss.”
