YNOT – Gay adult video-on-demand provider NakedSword has entered the original-content production game. To oversee its new studio division, the company has hired award-winning director, videographer and editor mr. Pam.

According to a prepared statement, NakedSword intends to begin offering original content to members weekly beginning March 6.

NakedSword and mr. Pam have collaborated since 2003, when they teamed to produce the genre-defying gay porn soap opera Wet Palms and the long-running online talk show The Tim & Roma Show. To date, mr. Pam has lensed and directed more than 50 episodes of the latter.

In her new position, she will continue to produce news segments for The Tim & Roma Show, TheSword blog and HardTV, but her main focus will be on creating original, exclusive, hardcore gay porn for NakedSword.com.

“First, there are no rules [here], so I’m so excited to work at a place where I can create in that kind of environment. It makes the possibilities limitless,” mr. Pam said. “We are planning on producing premium, big-budget, plot-driven features filmed in exotic locations with gorgeous men, as well as original all-sex videos, all of which will be available on NakedSword and then later on DVD.

“There will literally be something for everyone,” she added. “That’s what NakedSword has always been about.”

NakedSword Chief Executive Officer Tim Valenti praised mr. Pam’s artistic sensibilities and work ethic.

“mr. Pam is one of the most talented people in the industry,” he said. “She loves what she does, and it shows in her work. She doesn’t miss a thing, has an eagle eye and knows exactly how to create the right environment on-set so that cast and crew perform to the best of their abilities. She knows how to produce the kind of unique, high-quality, original content that we want NakedSword original productions to be synonymous with.

“Similar to a premium cable network like HBO, NakedSword members will now have access to our library of over 10,000 gay porn videos updated daily from more studios than anyone else on the internet,” Valenti added. “But, starting next week, NakedSword will premiere a brand new, original hardcore scene every week — the kind of scene that only NakedSword could deliver.”

Since 1997, mr. Pam has filmed, directed or edited more than 200 gay porn films. Among the industry accolades she has received, she said she is most proud of the 2010 Grabby Award for Best Videographer. Outside the industry, the honor she most treasures is the invitation to deliver a lecture about the aesthetics of gay porn at Yale University.

“I truly believe that porn is art,” she said.
