CANOGA PARK, CA – The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) announced yesterday that Tim Valenti, Co-Founder, President and CEO of NakedSword.com, has been appointed to the 2006 FSC Board of Directors.“Mr. Valenti is a well-known and respected member of the adult entertainment industry,” said Ms. Freridge. “He brings years of executive experience to the table, as well as a proven track record as an advocate for free speech, sound business practices, and all the other positive qualities that we value at FSC. He is a perfect fit.”

“As digital media becomes the dominant mode of consumption for adult material,” Valenti said, “regulators are increasingly focusing on the ‘bogeyman’ of adult online distribution. As a 10-year veteran of the VOD market, I am eager to help the Free Speech Coalition address the possibilities of the medium.”

Valenti’s appointment was made by the Board to fill a vacancy following the most recent round of elections held by the FSC.

The FSC also announced its Board Officers for 2006. The Officers are as follows:

According to the FSC’s press release, FSC Board members “serve in an oversight capacity, on various committees as active participants helping develop and initiate policy, and as officers helping facilitate an efficient and responsive association.”

FSC Board members are not compensated for their FSC services.
