SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – In an letter circulated Tuesday, the adult industry-focused blockchain technology company Nafty offers pop superstar Britney Spears $10 million to submit exclusive nude NFTs for auction on NaftyArt.com.
“We would like to offer you $10 million for the use of exclusive nude content to sell on our service as one-of-a-kind NFTs, with substantial ongoing royalties paid directly to you in perpetuity,” Nafty CEO Rob Kemenyfi states in the letter. “We realize that you are currently locked in a stressful (and costly) legal battle over your conservatorship, so we also are offering the option of paying your legal expenses directly with the $10 million to ease your burden.”
Kemenyfi encourages Spears to consider the company’s services as “this deal will not only significantly help you financially, but offer you a taste of the unbridled freedom you have long been yearning for.”
In a press release announcing the offer letter, Kemenyfi said the company had noticed that Spears “has been making some bold moves on social media since her latest legal wins in her conservatorship battle, which appears to include posting topless photos.”
“Nafty and NaftyArt.com is all about freedom for creators, and it sounds like just the freedom Britney Spears is seeking: no management control, no middlemen, and no outrageous fees – just a platform for creators and their fans,” Kemenyfi added.
While the letter focused on the potentially utility of the money in helping to pay for her legal battles, in the press release Kemenyfi noted that the ongoing royalties could benefit Spears in the future, as well.
“One of the good things about NFTs is that the creator gets royalties every time the NFT is sold for the life of the NFT – and Nafty will give those royalties directly to Britney,” Kemenyfi said.
NAFTY token holders also earn a passive income from transaction fees charged across the ecosystem and can use it to tip the creators, buy NFTs, place advertisements on Nafty platforms, pay for subscriptions to Nafty.tv, and “influence the roadmap of Nafty projects,” the company noted in its press release.
