CYBERSPACE — Jim McBride, owner and operator of MrSkin.com, released his second book early this month. His site focuses on celebrity nudity and his second book, like his first, is about that subject. Titled Mr. Skin’s Skintastic Video Guide: The 501 Greatest Movies For Sex & Nudity On DVD, it picks up where his site doesn’t really leave off in giving viewers a guide to where to see their female Hollywood favorites without clothing.Of running the site recently featured in the mainstream comedy Knocked Up, McBride said to the media, “It’s the greatest job in the world. As a kid I used to tape as many movies as I could with nudity and then I’d save the nude scenes on separate tapes. I really amazed my friends with my nudity knowledge growing up.”
McBride has more than five people working for him who do nothing but scan for female-only nudity and he stands by the decision to go chick flesh only.
“We don’t do male nudity. I think it’s mainly because this job is so fun I didn’t want to make it work,” McBride was quoted as saying.
MrSkin.com receives seven million hits a month, according to McBride and McBride says that Angelina Jolie is the most prolific of the naked famous people on his site.
“For an A-list actress, it’s pretty incredible to be naked in 10 movies and still be in your early 30s,” McBride says of the Girl, Interrupted star.
McBride’s first book was Mr. Skin’s Skincyclopedia: The A-to-Z Guide to Finding Your Favorite Actresses Naked. It came out in 2004 and McBride says it has sold 11,000 copies.
