LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Mistress Cyan is holding her annual charity “Slave Auction” this Saturday night, November 8 at Sanctuary Studios in Los Angeles, calling for “subbies, Masters, Mistresses, switches and lovers of kink put themselves on the block to help those in need.”

As explained in the announcement, for the last 28 years, Mistress Cyan has held a charity food drive at her dungeon for Thanksgiving to help the homeless and those in need during the holidays. Guests bring non-perishable food and canned goods in exchange for “auction money” which they can then use to bid on volunteers who have put themselves up for auction. The team at Sanctuary Studios then coordinates with local food banks and charities to distribute the donations after the event.

“Those looking to go on the block for a good cause fill out a questionnaire of their likes and dislikes, which are announced before bidding begins,” the announcement noted. “This is all for kinky fun. There is no actual sex. Everything is negotiated, consensual, and all safewords will be respected.”

The charity drive is “a Sanctuary Studios tradition,” Mistress Cyan said. “The thought of people being hungry over Thanksgiving is a very disturbing thought for me. Over the years, our efforts have inspired local churches and groups to step up and donate to our cause, and the result was that more than 100,000 people have been fed because of what we’re doing.”

In addition to food, grocery gift cards, new socks, new underwear, and clean blankets will be accepted at the event, as well. The food will be donated to The MCC Church in North Hollywood for distribution to the community. Non-food items, like toiletries, diapers, socks and blankets will also be donated to MCC in The Valley and The Sidewalk Project.

“Sometimes, guests will get together and pool their funds to bid on someone they really like,” Mistress Cyan added. “The auction is an exciting way to meet new kinky friends. Guests are also welcome to simply bring a donation and stay for the party at our spacious facility with themed playrooms.”
