Writer/director Lincoln wanted to break the usual tropes of taboo and lesbian play—and it happened almost by mistake.
“We were setting up in another room for the fourth scene,” Mindi reports, “and Lincoln just happened to look down the hallway and see that gorgeous window light through the slats. He said to Mia and I: ‘We just have to shoot in there.'” The mostly ad-libbed scene that was the result turned out to be a perfect segue into the next installment of the series.
When asked how many episodes are in the series, Mink said: “You’ll just have to be surprised!”
