BOSTON – If you’ve watched any of the previous live panel discussion events hosted by MindBrowse, you know they’re serious affairs. Weighty and occasionally contentious, past topics have focused on the role of women in the modern adult industry and the question of whether feminism and porn can coexist.

There’s nothing solemn about this week’s MindBrowse event, however—other than potential for some serious fun. Panelists Jacky St. James, Will Ryder, Evan Stone and Casey Calvert will address the lighter side of working in porn—from on-set mishaps to the sort of painfully awkward moments in daily life only people who work in the porn industry confront—in a session called “Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Porn, but Were Afraid to Ask.”

Beginning at 3 p.m EDT. Dec. 2, “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Porn, But Were Afraid to Ask” will be moderated by sociologist Chauntelle Tibbals, who will pose entertaining questions she has gathered from various fans and porn viewers, in addition to relaying questions submitted by viewers in real-time via Twitter, using the hashtag #SexTalkTuesday.

Angie Rowntree, owner of Sssh.com and producer of MindBrowse events, said with the holiday season in full swing, the time is just right for an event like “Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Porn.”

“I’m very proud of the discussions we’ve had on MindBrowse thus far, and all of the panelists have done a great job addressing some very difficult and complex subjects,” Rowntree said. “But for the holiday season, it just felt right to do something more focused on fun. I mean, ’tis the season to be jolly, right?”

Each of the panelists is well-versed in both porn and comedy, and they’re associated with some of the biggest hits in recent industry history.

Ryder has won multiple awards for his porn parodies, including a series of honors for Grease XXX, and Stone is one of the more recognizable faces in all of porn, owing to his major roles in movies like Pirates and Batman XXX: A Porn Parody. St. James is an award-winning director best known for her work with New Sensations, including The Temptation of Eve which won the 2014 Steamiest Straight Movie Feminist Porn Award. Casey Calvert is a writer, fetish model and art model who “dabbles as a circus freak” and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida, in addition to having more than 100 adult film titles to her credit.
