Las Vegas, NV — Miles Long made a virtual guest appearance on the May 4th episode of industry personality Lisa Ann’s SiriusXM podcast, “The Lisa Ann Experience.”
The award-winning director discussed the industry’s new business model in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns, including the rise of self-produced content on social platforms such as JustFor.fans, Loyalfans and others, as well as their effects on adult film production in the future.
“These fans and those fans and their website and their Snapchat… all of these different platforms where people were camming or selling their content by themselves… that allowed them to be free of having to rely on someone else to hire them to make money,” Long told the host. “It’s diversified in a very broad sense.”
Long added that, “There are a lot of people who didn’t consider adult previously… Girls who were nightclub hostesses, day clubs, they were used to wearing a bikini, adult dancers… those people are making content now too, so I think it’s helped the business itself become a little bit more social acceptable as well.”
Long also shared his thoughts on the vast differences in doing business between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, social media’s ongoing issues with adult content and the advice he gives his performers before doing a scene.
“No matter what your agent says, or your friends say, or the guy who’s shooting your content says, don’t ever do anything on film that you wouldn’t do in your personal life and that you enjoy as well,” Long advised.
Long and Ann even spent time talking about all his full-time projects building his award winning show cars and show bikes and how he has taken his projects from a part time hobby to full time manufacturer sponsored builds that he features on his social media, and are now featured on numerous popular car groups across the internet.
